Facilitated by Artist in Residence, Matthew Armstrong and community farm supporter, Tania Schmakeit.
Mark making involves creating lines, shapes, textures, and patterns using a range of tools and techniques. It’s about experimenting with different ways to make marks on a surface, whether through drawing, painting, or other forms of artistic expression.
This workshop will explore markmaking methods on paper – the shapes, lines, patterns, and textures within the landscape of the community farm. A selection of materials will be used: palette knives, brushes, charcoal, graphite, sticks, pastels, acrylic inks and paints.
Please join us for this fun, creative, explorative workshop, followed by lunch - soup, billy tea and brewed coffee (provided).
Cost: $15 per person. All welcome.
Suitable for everyone: from beginners to experienced artists.
