There are different ways to get involved at the farm and help out. Come see us on a Wednesday 9 am-12 noon, Saturday 8-10am or Sunday 2-5pm, send us an email or call us to discuss further.
There are many opportunities for volunteers at the farm. No matter what your interests or skills are, there is always something to do! This is a great opportunity to learn organic principles, make friends and get your hands dirty.
ATtend a workshop
BCF runs regular workshops for adults and for children. From gardening to cooking, sustainable living, art and craft and healthy living, we've got you covered! The best way to keep up-to-date is to follow us on Facebook and check the GOLD and GOLD'n'KIDS program.
Facilitate a workshop
If you would like to share your skills with the community in a great setting, contact us to discuss the possibilities.
visit with your group
Are you part of a group interested in gardening and/or sustainable living? Are you a scout leader? Are you a teacher? We love to receive visitors and would be very happy to show you around and/or organise some activities with you.
Rent an allotment
When renting an allotment at Beelarong Community Farm, you get the chance to benefit from experienced gardeners' advice. You also have access to our tools, compost and worm juice to help you achieve great results.
attend a working bee
If you don't have time to help during our regular Wednesday get together, why not come along to one of our working bees. Held alternatively on Saturday and Sunday mornings every few months, they are an important time to get things done.
Jams, cards and raffles
We sell jam all year round (you might have heard of our famous rosella jam), cards made by one of our members, and hold regular raffles. All profits from these sales beneficiate the farm and go towards our running costs.
