Knit’n’Natter, Crochet’n’Chatter

  • Beelarong Community Farm 56 York Street Morningside, QLD, 4170 Australia (map)

Come along to Beelarong Community Farm at 9.30am on Tuesday 10th October and join a friendly group to knit or crochet Poppies.

We will contribute to the 5000 Poppies Appeal, which is a Community Tribute to pay Respect and Remembrance and to honour the fallen in WW1 on Remembrance Day 2018. This is the Centenary of the end of WW1. They will be planted in Canberra or they may be distributed to the RSL.

A friend of the Farm, Roxy Hutchinson, will be there to teach beginners and the patterns are very simple. Copies will be available to take home.
We will set ourselves a target on the day.
